Hello and welcome to Creed and Calling! This blog serves many purposes, but first and foremost it is to glorify God in all knowledge, study, and proclamation of the good news. Many different areas will be addressed from theology, spiritual formation, leadership, and the call, to the missional hope that believers are to spread throughout the world.

This blog is for anyone wanting to share and discuss thoughts about God, life, and ministry, as well as how believers can live in the kingdom of heaven today. Various authors will contribute to these discussions to showcase different perspectives.

This journey started for me years ago; I began to feel the strong teachings of the Bible, theology, and the way of life, become completely saturated with preaching that resembled more of a TED Talk or motivational message. Something was missing for me; I wanted to understand the Christian faith. I wanted to learn about the historical context and theological ideologies that have shaped the belief for Christians, and understand what it means to claim the identity of a “Christian” or “follower of the way”. So here I am, ready to discuss, learn, and continue the pursuit of knowing God and his abundant love for his people through writing and engaging with those looking for the same things. As this blog continues to take shape, I ask that you become engaged. Feel free to argue, agree, discuss, and prove points. I look forward to the discussion and engagement!
